Heading to Jazz Fest this weekend?

The 50th anniversary of the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival is here!

If you are a festival lover like me you might have wondered what it would be like to live close enough to the fairgrounds to hear the music without leaving your front porch. And we all know festival parking can be a nightmare so being able to walk right over is another bonus!

I got curious this year so I went ahead and pulled together some homes for sale near Jazz Fest  - and it turns out there are some in plenty of budget ranges! Take a look and let me know which is your favorite!

Under $300,000

Who knew you could get a condo for sale near the fairgrounds for as little as $169,000! There are also several recently renovated and reno-ready properties on the Gentilly side of the fairgrounds.

If you're looking for more options in this price range you'll likely end up deeper into Gentilly, which is still a great area and at most a bike ride away from the fest!

In the $300k-500k range I found a few interesting properties on the Esplanade side of the fairgrounds including these two recently renovated homes on Maurepas and Desoto. The Desaix Boulevard home is a new construction (!) property on the Gentilly side.

Options really start to open up with a budget over $500,000 in the fairgrounds area. These three homes all boast plenty of square footage, interior updates and outdoor space galore. The pink beauty on Ursulines Avenue includes an entire extra lot!
